Video Scaling
Video signals coming from an MPEG decoder, tuner, or input video source may be re-sized to fit on menu systems or for picture-in-picture (PIP) operations.
When a set-top box design contains support for hardware video scaling, this iSET component can independently control the scaled width and height of the resulting video image and place it anywhere on the screen. In addition to PIP, the video signal can be displayed from inside the HTML menu system for visual feedback of user selections.
