Graphics Support
Each set-top box design is unique, but almost all will require graphics support of some kind, whether to hardware accelerate 2D graphics operations or to take advantage of graphic overlay planes and transparency.
All iSET components are built on top of a common graphics architecture utilizing either Nano-X or the X Windows graphical environment. These graphical environments are augmented with additional drivers, utilities, and applications to take full advantage of the unique graphical support offered by the set-top box designers.
Graphical support can include 2D or 3D hardware acceleration, access to multiple overlay planes, transparency, anti-aliased fonts, internationalization, GUI toolkits, logo/bug insertion, and other graphic features.
